Transportation and infrastructure community funding opportunities help communities and groups expand, maintain and upgrade infrastructure and promote employment and economic growth.

Passenger Transportation Accessibility Program

The Passenger Transportation Accessibility Program (PTAP) will improve services and experiences for the accessibility community by providing funding and training to the taxi industry.

B.C. Active Transportation Infrastructure Grants Program

To encourage healthy living and to help address climate change, we’re cost-sharing active transportation infrastructure projects such as bike lanes, separated bike paths, shared roadways, shoulder bikeways and bicycle/pedestrian overpasses with Indigenous and local governments.

Aviation Infrastructure Funding

The Province supports the development of B.C.'s community aviation facilities through cost-sharing programs and funding for projects such as runway extensions, terminal building expansions and lighting and navigational system upgrades.

New Building Canada Fund – Small Communities Fund

Under the New Building Canada Fund – Small Communities Fund (NBCF-SCF) the provincial and the federal governments will each allocate approximately $109 million to support infrastructure projects in communities with a population of less than 100,000 people.

This 10-year funding program runs from 2014 to 2024.

Investing in Canada Infrastructure Fund

Investing in Canada Infrastructure Program - British Columbia cost-shares infrastructure investments between the governments of Canada and British Columbia, local governments and other partners.
