Active Land Use Planning Projects

Last updated on April 2, 2020

The B.C. government has initiated several new projects as part of its commitment to modernize land use planning in British Columbia. This approach includes partnerships with First Nations, collaboration with local government, and engagement with industry, communities, stakeholders and the public.

Please visit the Provincial Land Use Planning Engagement Platform to learn more about active land use planning projects in B.C.  This site allows users to access project information and supporting documents, reports and analyses, and submit comments and feedback to project planning teams of active land use planning projects.

The B.C. government continues to advance government-to-government discussions with partner First Nations throughout the province on land use planning issues and interests. Land use planning projects will be added to the Provincial Land Use Planning Engagement Platform once an agreement has been reached between the B.C. government and partner First Nations to pursue a land use planning project.
