Re: Flue Pipe

With reference to your letter of September 14, 1988 regarding flue pipe enclosed within a double wall, insulated, stainless steel pipe.

We do not consider the installation submitted to contravene the Building Code. However, in the absence of test data to support reduced clearances those required in the Code for unprotected pipe would apply.
