Projects funded by the provincial government

Since 2017, the provincial government has allocated over $584 million into expanding connectivity to under-served rural, remote, and Indigenous communities in B.C. So far, this has funded 208 projects, which will benefit approximately 95,000 households in the province.

How to use the map

This map of the province shows all projects which have been allocated and funded by the Connecting British Columbia and Connecting Communities BC programs. These are displayed by community. 

Click on a pin on the map to see information for a project in a community. Double-click on the map or use your mouse wheel to zoom in and see projects in a specific area. Zoom into an area for an accurate location of the project.

Note that large projects will have a pin in each community the project benefits. Dates and details are subject to change.
