Clos du Soleil produces international award-winning ultra-premium quality wines, borrowing an aesthetic derived from the great wines of Bordeaux, but stamped with the distinct flavours and aromas of the rocky Similkameen land they call home. Through traditional winemaking techniques, informed by research but adhering to the philosophies of minimal-interventionist winemaking and biodynamic viticulture, their wines are complex and classic, ageable and elegant.

The winery’s flagship red wine, Signature, is a Bordeaux red blend of cabernet sauvignon, merlot, cabernet franc, petit verdot and malbec, fermented in small lots, spending at least 18 months in French Oak Barriques, and at least six months in bottle prior to release. This wine is known as “one of B.C.’s best” and consistently scores 90+ points.

Their flagship white wine, Capella, is a classic Bordeaux blend of sauvignon blanc and sémillon. It is a wine of grace, elegance, and age-worthy structure. The whites are whole cluster pressed with select lots fermented in barrel for a 12-18 months maturation process in stainless steel tanks before bottling and release.

Clos du Soleil also offers award-winning rosé, fumé blanc and pinot blanc varieties, as well as an estate reserve in small quantities, their award winning Saturn, a delicious late harvest sauvignon blanc, and a series of small-lot, limited release wines in their Winemaker's Series, highlighting single varieties like syrah, chardonnay, merlot, cabernet franc, and more.

Established in 2006 in Keremeos, Clos du Soleil is led by a small group of international businesspeople that fell in love with the Similkameen Valley and are passionate about capturing its unique terroir. Their goal from the start has been to produce elegant age-worthy wines using grapes that are farmed organically and biodynamically. The vineyard is certified organic and is working towards biodynamic certification, and the company’s wines are vegan friendly.
