Children are naturally curious and start learning from day one. Young children do much of their learning through play. To support optimum development and learning, families should provide plenty of fun, play-based experiences on a daily basis. 

• StrongStart BC
  Participate with your young child (aged birth to five) in early learning play-based activities – including stories, music and art. At no cost to families, this school-based early learning program helps prepare children for success in Kindergarten. 
• Ready, Set, Learn
  Attend a Ready, Set, Learn event in your community. Families and their three-year-olds who attend at a local school take part in early learning activities while finding out about early learning programs and services.
• Primary Years
  Schools in B.C. work hard to help students get the best possible start. Learn how you can support your child’s learning in the primary years at school
