Procurement services fee structure

Procurement Services operates on a full cost-recovery basis. The following fees and charges apply to the services delivered by the branch:

Procurement advisory services

Consulting services

Service Fee
Directors, senior managers and managers $120 per hour
Procurement specialists $100 per hour
Purchasing agents (does not apply to goods acquisitions) $80 per hour
Subcontractors providing procurement services Fee negotiated on a project-to-project basis
Long term procurement projects and consultations Fee negotiated on a project-to-project basis

Support services

Service Fee
Support services, which may include document handling, closing of solicitations, file retrieval, etc. $60 per hour (for services of more than one hour in duration)

Goods acquisitions

Purchase value Fee
Purchases up to $5000 $300 per purchase order
Purchases from $5001 - $15,000 $500 per purchase order
Purchases from $15,001 - $30,000 $800 per purchase order
Purchases from $30,001 - $100,000 $1,300 per purchase order
Purchases over $100,000 $2,500 per purchase order
Purchase order amendments - any value $300 per amendment

Corporate supply arrangements

1% pre-tax administration fee on value of draw-down 

Note: fees do not apply to hardware, vehicle maintenance and repair, hotel accommodation, daily vehicle rentals, or scheduled airfare.

Vehicle fleet services

Vehicle fuel only cards $2.25 per card, per month

BC Bid services

Email notification of opportunities $100 annual subscription
Submit e-bids $150 annual subscription
Postings on BC Bid™ by Procurement Services Branch on behalf of Client (no charge if posted directly to BC Bid™ by the Client) $100 each
