City of Kelowna Grants

Description

The City of Kelowna offers four categories of Arts & Culture Grants to non-profit organizations.  These grants are awarded on an annual basis and organizations may apply for grants under more than one category in the same calendar year. 

The four categories include:

  • General operating grants available to arts, culture and heritage organizations carrying out the majority of their work in Kelowna
  • Project grants available to community organizations providing a festival, event or project that feature arts, culture and/or heritage for the benefit of Kelowna residents
  • Organization development grants providing assistance to non-profit arts, culture and heritage organizations for the purpose of undertaking activities or initiatives that will develop the organization’s capacity and sustainability
  • Community arts grants encouraging the creation of publicly accessible artworks, fosters community pride, identity and reflects the diversity of the community

Special Requirements

Eligible organizations must be incorporated as a non-profit society and operate primarily in Kelowna.
