Register for the BC Premises Identification (ID) Program

The Premises ID Program gathers information about the location of animals, the types of animals at each location and how to contact individuals responsible for those animals. Premises ID is an important tool for protecting the health and safety of your livestock. In the event of an emergency, premises ID information improves our ability to rapidly contact notify animal owners, contain pest and animal disease outbreaks and more effectively respond to natural disasters like floods or fires. Participation in the program is mandatory for poultry and livestock owners and commingling site operators in BC.
