Filing the BC-S1, Monthly Production Statement
The BC-S1 statement reports your monthly production of oil, field condensate, natural gas and water for one or more well events linked to a reporting facility.
You submit a BC-S1 to record the estimated, measured and prorated production from each well event.
If you have no production for any of your wells attached to the reporting facility, you don’t need to submit a BC-S1.
You must file the BC-S1 by the 25th day following the production month.
If the due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or statutory holiday, the due date is the next business day.
If you file your reports after the due date, you will be charged late filing penalties.
If you need to amend reported production, list only those well events with amended volumes, including all products for the amended well event; don't re-submit the entire BC-S1. Please read the guidelines (PDF) for further information.
Keep working papers and supporting documentation until you obtain written permission for their disposal in the event that you are audited.
