Reporting New Charges or Convictions
You must report new criminal charges or convictions to your organization immediately if you work or volunteer with children or vulnerable adults.
You must also complete a new Consent to a Criminal Record Check form or a new Consent to a Criminal Record Check for Volunteers form which your organization will submit to the Criminal Records Review Program (CRRP). You cannot work or volunteer with vulnerable people until the consent form is submitted to the CRRP.
Organizations that become aware of a new charge or conviction must have the employee or volunteer complete a new Consent to a Criminal Record Check form or a new Consent to a Criminal Record Check for Volunteers form and submit it to the CRRP. An employee or volunteer cannot work with vulnerable people until a consent form is submitted.
