Holly is the geomorphology and GIS specialist in the Cordilleran Geoscience Section of the BC Geological Survey.

Expertise

Holly joined the BCGS in 2012 as a Geoscience Assistant and became the Geomorphology and GIS Specialist in 2014. Previously, Holly completed her MSc degree at Brock on the micromorphology of Antarctic Peninsula groundling line sediments from the Last Glacial Maximum.

At the BCGS, Holly is part of the Quaternary geology team and is responsible for on-going ice-flow indicator compilation project. She maintains, updates, and expands the compilation to provide new landform and ice-flow data that contributes to the synthesis of glacial history and dynamics of the Cordilleran Ice Sheet in support of mineral exploration. Additionally, Holly is responsible for the cartographic and GIS support for the Quaternary team.
