Forestry Worker Job Placement
Job placement coordination offices are open in five interior communities hardest hit by mill closures: 100 Mile House; Fort St. James; Fort St. John; Mackenzie; and Clearwater. These offices have dedicated people ready to support forestry workers in their communities.
The job placement coordination program is designed to match up workers with new opportunities. These offices support impacted forestry workers by assessing their needs and goals. Then, people are connected to programs and services, matching them with jobs, and engaging employers and unions.
Forestry workers can also access information and fill out a Job Matching Form online.
