Forestry Worker Job Placement

Job placement offices are opening in five interior communities hardest hit by mill closures: 100 Mile House; Fort St. James; Fort St. John; Mackenzie; and Clearwater. These offices will have dedicated people ready to support forestry workers in their communities. Office locations and contact information will be available as offices open.

The job placement program is designed to match up workers with new opportunities. These offices support impacted forestry workers by assessing their needs and goals. Then, people are connected to programs and services, matching them with jobs, and engaging employers and unions.

Forestry workers can also access information and apply for the job placement program online.
