Boundary Timber Supply Area
The Boundary timber supply area (TSA) is in southern British Columbia in the Kootenay Boundary Region. Covering about 659,000 hectares, it includes the communities of Grand Forks, Greenwood, Midway, Christina Lake, Rock Creek, Bridesville and Beaverdell and is administered by the Selkirk Natural Resource District, Kootenay-Boundary Natural Resource Region.
Current Timber Supply Review
Boundary TSA's allowable annual cut (AAC) is 700,000 cubic metres, effective May 22, 2014. Generally, a new AAC is set at least once every 10 years.
Feedback is welcome on any issue related to this timber supply review (TSR). Public input is a vital part of the TSR process.
