Real Estate Development Marketing Act Individual Exemptions

The Superintendent of Real Estate may exempt individual persons, land lots or transactions from some or all of the requirements of the Real Estate Development Marketing Act. Exemptions could pertain to:

  • General marketing requirements
  • Preliminary requirements or approvals
  • Title assurance and utility payments
  • Filing and provision of disclosure statements
  • Handling of deposits

The Superintendent may apply conditions to exemptions, as well as suspend or cancel exemptions.
