PARP Online Evidence Submissions System and Teleconference call Project for 2018

In some communities, Property Assessment Review Panel hearings conducted in 2018, will occur by teleconference (telephone)  supplemented by the PARP Online Evidence Submission System.

Conference Call Panels will conduct hearings by teleconference using evidence submitted in advance by the parties (BC Assessment and the Complainant). This project focuses on the use of technology in property assessment hearings especially in areas of the Province where travel can be dangerous or difficult in the winter months.

The Conference Call Panels will be located in:
  • Victoria
  • Prince George
  • Williams Lake
  • Cranbrook
  • Kelowna
  • Surrey
  • Courtenay
  • Vancouver
They will hear complaints for properties located in:
  •  Area 01 - Victoria - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 04 - Nanaimo - all jurisidctions
  •  Area 06 - Courtenay - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 08 - 321 – Bowen Island, 745 – Bowen Island Rural, 346 – Sechelt Indian Govt Dist, 524 – Gibsons, 570 – Sechelt, 746 – Sechelt Rural
  •  Area 14 - Surrey – all Jurisdictions – Residential Single Family Dwellings Only
  •  Area 17 - Penticton - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 19 - Kelowna - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 20 - Vernon - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 21 - Nelson - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 22 - Cranbrook - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 23 - Kamloops - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 24 - Williams Lake - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 25 - Terrace - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 26 - Prince George - all Jurisdictions
  •  Area 27 - Dawson Creek - all Jurisdictions
