Sadie earned her Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of British Columbia. She then went on to obtain board certification as a Pharmacotherapy Specialist through the Board of Pharmacy Specialties.
Sadie began her career as a pharmacy officer in the Canadian Forces, working first in a clinic setting and then in a medical logistics role. More recently, Sadie worked as a clinical pharmacist at Victoria General Hospital, primarily in general and gynecological surgery. Sadie is currently an academic detailing pharmacist for the BC PAD service, and she works casually as a clinical pharmacist at Victoria General Hospital.
Academic Detailer Work Experience
Sadie joined the BC PAD service in December 2018 and has completed Basic Academic Detailing training.
Sadie loves outdoor activities. In the summer you can find her tending vegetables in her garden, swimming at the lake, climbing the numerous rock faces on the Island, or hiking in the backcountry. In the winter she takes her skis in search of snow, or picks up a cup of tea and a knitting project.
