Public Sector Board Appointment Process - Instructions for Board Chairs

Each Board or Agency that has upcoming vacancies, is invited to proactively complete the following forms at least six months prior to the upcoming vacancy or appointment expiry date:

  1.  A Performance Appraisal (PDF) for any members eligible for, and seeking, reappointment
  2.  A Request for Appointment Checklist (DOC)
  3.  In anticipation of a board vacancy, a Notice of Position (DOC)

If a Notice of Position has been previously posted, you may choose to update an older version, or may choose to contact Crown Agencies and Board Resourcing Office for a copy of a previous Notice of Position.

  1. Candidate Profile and Declaration form(s) for new appointees to Governing Boards (PDF) and the Candidate Profile and Declaration form(s) for new appointees to Tribunals (PDF).
