As a Managed Services provider, Product Distribution Centre (PDC) provides full-supply chain services for the sourcing, procurement, inventory management, and distribution of goods to your end-users. Our approach includes:

- Inventory management
- Custom inventory and usage data reports
- Product receiving, warehousing, picking, packing, and shipping
- Pharmacy support for pharmaceutical goods
- Product recalls

- Secured access to a custom shopping cart for your program's products
- Province-wide distribution to service centres and/or citizen's homes
Types of goods we can buy:
- Medical devices and supplies
- Feeding supplies and equipment (pumps, nutritional foods / supplements)
- Personal care products (incontinence supplies, diapers, personal hygiene)
- Pharmaceutical products (O.T.C. products, drugs, naloxone kits)
- Maintenance and safety (hardware, janitorial, medical disinfectant, Personal Protective Equipment)
- Career apparel (uniforms, jackets, hats, boots)
Use this arrangement
Step 1: Check if your organization is authorized. Organizations that may use this arrangement are:
- B.C. government ministries
- B.C. broader public sector organizations such as Crown corporations, government-funded organizations, local/municipal governments (including fire departments)
- Federal government
Step 2: Contact Product Distribution Centre by email or phone at 1-800-988-1155 about your specialized, unique program. If our services align with your program needs, we'll work with you to identify your program requirements and begin procuring products.
Step 3: Clients can place orders on the Product Distribution Centre online store. We set up custom, controlled shopping carts for secure, authorized, and easy ordering.
Information about this arrangement
- Product Distribution Centre is a Health Canada regulated facility holding both a Drug Establishment License (DEL) and a Medical Device Establishment License (MDEL) under “Wholesaler” category for DEL and “Distributor” category for MDEL
- PDC is not licensed under “Importer” category for either license; therefore, PDC can only procure with Canadian distributors
- Separate from this arrangement, PDC has a self-contained, community-licensed pharmacy that is regulated by the BC College of Pharmacists to dispense individual patient prescriptions specifically to BC Corrections facilities and certain Group Homes

Pricing
PDC operates on a cost-recovery basis and our pricing depends on the cost of product, operational overhead and shipping costs.
