Confidence and Supply Agreement Secretariat
On June 29, 2017 the Lieutenant Governor of British Columbia asked Premier John Horgan to form government on the assurance of having the confidence of the Legislative Assembly. The Confidence and Supply Agreement (CASA), signed on May 30, 2017 by representatives of the BC New Democrat Caucus and the BC Green Caucus, forms the basis for BC Green Caucus confidence in government.
Government is committed to consulting with the BC Green Caucus as contemplated by the CASA.
The CASA Secretariat is a small office dedicated to managing the consultations to support CASA implementation.
The CASA Secretariat:
- Ensures progress on the wide range of priority initiatives outlined in the Agreement
- Ensures consultations are managed efficiently and according to government policies and regulations
