Aboriginal Case Practice Audits

The audit review process is designated to support and improve practice in delegated Aboriginal agencies (DAA).  Through a review of a random sample of case files, audits provide a baseline measure of practice.

In order to receive a compliance rating, there must be documentation that confirms the compliance criteria for each standard has been met.  Many measures contain multiple criteria and if any of the criteria is inadequately documented, non-compliance rating results.  Delegated Aboriginal Agency audits are completed on a three year rotation as per Aboriginal Operational and Practice Standards and Indicators.  The Ministry of Children and Family Development is required to publish these practice audits.
