The Integrated Pest Management Act (IPMA) and Regulation outlines specific requirements for pesticide (herbicide) use for:

Forestry and industrial vegetation management
Management of noxious weeds and invasive plants

Individuals who work in noxious weed and industrial vegetation management can find help interpreting the legislation in a summary document that includes examples of compliant activities and additional resource material.

Anyone responsible for managing or applying pesticides to forested areas must be aware of the potential impacts to wildlife and their habitats.
