Current activities

  • In 2005, 19 First Nations in the Stó:lō Nation underwent internal re-organization; Chawathil, Cheam, Kwantlen, Kwaw-kwaw-Apilt, Scowlitz, Seabird Island, Shxw'ow'hamel and Soowahlie formed the Stó:lō Tribal Council. STC is negotiating land & resource agreements outside the B.C. treaty process.
