About the Registry Key
A registry key is like a password. You will need it to view your society’s information and complete online transactions and filings – for example annual reports.
Registry keys must be a minimum of eight characters. You may use a combination of letters, numbers and special characters. Do not use your incorporation number, business number or name in your key.
We recommend only giving the key to those who are authorized to complete filings for your society.
Once a key is setup, it will not expire. The key can be changed (for example if there has been turn-over within the society) by going to Manage Site Access once you have logged in to Society Online.
