Operating a business in B.C. may require different registrations with federal, provincial and local agencies and governments.

What Can I Register Through OneStop?

OneStop is for you if you need to register or apply for one or more of the following

If your organization wants to operate under another name, you can register an operating or “Doing Business As” (DBA) name. This option is available to all organizations except sole proprietorships.

You must register with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) for a GST account if your business is earning more than a certain amount each year.

If your business will have employees, you will need to open a payroll program account with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA) to remit your deductions.

If you will be importing or exporting commercial goods, open an import-export program account with the Canada Revenue Agency (CRA).

If you will be selling or leasing new or used goods, you will need to collect PST.
