Vendor complaint review process for the Ministries of Attorney General and Public Safety and Solicitor General
The Vendor Complaint Review Process (VCRP) gives vendors access to a consistent, fair and timely process to have their complaints about government procurement addressed. It also helps to identify ways to improve procurement.
Ministries and Shared Services BC (SSBC) are responsible for procurement and reviewing vendor complaints. All ministry and SSBC complaint review processes are consistent with the VCRP framework. Review processes may, however, vary because ministries differ in structure and operations.
The VCRP deals with procurement policy and procedures and does not limit access to other complaint reviews or dispute resolution processes. Complainants do not receive compensation under the VRCP.
A vendor can submit a written complaint about a Ministry of Attorney General and Ministry of Public Safety and Solicitor General competition, contact awards, or proposed contract award for goods or services.

If this does not resolve your complaint, follow these steps:
|1.||Submit the Vendor Complaint Form by email or fax (250 387-5034) or mail to the sector vendor complaint review process contact noted below.||Vendor complaints must be received within 30 business days after notice of competition outcome|
|2.||The ministry vendor complaint review process contact will acknowledge receipt, register the complaint and assign a reference number.||3 to 5 business days|
The corporate procurement manager will investigate the complaint and provide a written response to the complainant. The response will give:
If there is a delay, the complainant will be notified of the reason within 30 business days.
