Post-Secondary Quality Assurance Consultation

What is this engagement about?

The Degree Quality Assessment Board, an advisory board appointed by the Minister for Advanced Education and Skills Training, is updating the quality assurance policies and criteria.

Process

Targeted engagement with British Columbia public post-secondary institutions and private degree-granting institutions are ongoing.  We are also consulting with First Nations Rights and Title holders, along with Métis, Inuit, and Indigenous education organizations.

Engagement documents are available for public review and comment.

How to participate

AEST will collect feedback until Summer 2022. The feedback you provide will help inform new quality assurance policies and criteria that strengthen of our post-secondary system.

Any personal information you provide in the course of your submissions will be collected by the Ministry of Advanced Education and Skills Training pursuant to the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FOIPPA) to inform the proposed DQAB policy changes.
