Organization Review

Under the Degree Authorization Act, the Minister of Advanced Education, Skills & Training is responsible for establishing and publishing criteria that apply for the purposes of giving or refusing consent, or attaching terms and conditions to consent.

Criteria

The purpose of the organization review is to assess the institution’s policies and practices against the established criteria to demonstrate that the institution has the capacity to deliver degree programs.

The Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act prevents the:

  • Unauthorized collection, use or disclosure of personal information
  • Disclosure of information provided in confidence that would be harmful to an applicant’s business interests (e.g. financial, commercial or technical information)
