Apprenticeship and Trades
We are making improvements to this information. Ministry staff are reviewing the content, and new information will be available in the Fall of 2019. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
Apprenticeship training is divided into two components:
- In-class learning (through the Youth Train in Trades program)
- Practical, hands-on training (through the Youth Work in Trades (WRK) program)
It’s possible to be enrolled in both of these training programs at the same time. Your school counsellor can help you with the advance planning required for this approach.
