Description

The Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF) is an internationally recognized certificate of proficiency used to gain entry to post-secondary programs and secure future employment. Successful DELF exam completion also provides students with four external credits toward graduation.

Outcome

DELF is an external accreditation that is closely aligned with the philosophy of the re-designed curriculum, and the District’s high participation and successful completion rates are a testament to students’dedication and commitment to excellence, as well as the professionalism of their teachers.

Twenty-one students from RE Mountain Secondary and eleven students from Langley Fine Arts received A2 (basic user) and B1(independent user) level certificates in the November 2017 exam session. Langley will have more than 80 candidates participating in the April 2018 exam session.
