Adjudication: Supports for Graduation Assessments & Provincial Exams
Assessment/exam procedures may be adapted for students with identified needs who are unable to demonstrate their knowledge using standard assessment procedures. The adjudications process ensures that students who have demonstrated a need for supports within the educational setting have access to those same supports during assessments/exams.

Guidelines for Readers & Scribes
The adjudication process provides equity and accessibility to students with diverse abilities/disabilities who qualify for adaptations on provincial assessments and exams.
Decisions to provide non-technological supports (readers and scribes) should be made based on the learning needs, learning styles and special needs of the student.
