B.C. Government Ministries
Ministry placements vary from year to year and include diverse work assignments in Victoria, Vancouver, and other regional locations.
The Aboriginal Youth Internship Program will annually seek expressions of interest from B.C. Aboriginal organizations that can provide supportive, educational, and meaningful work placements for Aboriginal youth interns during the summer months. The interns will be seconded to selected organizations from June to August, with the interns' salary covered by the provincial government during the work placement. Aboriginal youth interns will be matched with the selected Aboriginal organizations based on their interests, qualifications, education, experience, skills and location.
Requests for expressions of interest to host an Aboriginal intern occur every year from January to February.
