Health & Well-being Workshops
Health & Well-Being workshops offer information on a variety of healthy living-focused topics such as: mindfulness, resiliency, preparing for retirement, emotional intelligence and more. The workshops are delivered in person in locations across the Province and also via Lync.
A full roster of winter Health & Well-being workshops are open for registration. Highlights include:
Health & Well-being: Mental Health in the Workplace
With individual workshops for employees and managers/supervisors, this half-day course educates participants about common mental health issues, provides tools to manage issues and explores resources.
Health & Well-being: Leading a Safe and Healthy Workplace
This day-long course for supervisors introduces and reinforces knowledge, leadership skills, and resources that create and sustain safe and healthy workplaces. Everyone wins when employees feel respected, supported, and engaged.
Health & Well-being: Allies for a Safe and Healthy Workplace E-Learning Course
This 40-minute self-directed, e-learning course is accessible at any time. The course raises awareness in supervisors and employees of the importance of health and safety issues at work, and how every individual contributes to a safe and healthy workplace.
Health & Well-being: Workplace Supports for Healthy Living
This 1.5 hour Lync workshop introduces participants to the health & well-being programs and services available to employees. A large portion of this workshop is focused on the services available through our Employee and Family Assistance Services provider, Morneau Shepell.
