Health & Well-being Workshops

Health & Well-Being workshops offer information on a variety of healthy living-focused topics such as: mental health, mindful communication and listening, resilience and stress management, preparing for retirement, getting along with change and more. The workshops are delivered in person in locations across the Province and via Lync.

A full roster of fall Health & Well-being workshops are open for registration. Highlights include:

Health & Well-being: Mindfulness Guided Practice Session

This 1.5 hour Lync workshop engages participants in a series of guided mindfulness practices and an opportunity for live Q&A with our mindfulness meditation facilitator.

Health & Well-being: Resilience and Stress Hardiness

This half-day workshop explores current resilience research on stress hardiness and resilience. It also offers participants practical, leading-edge tools and skills to create more resilience and to design a personal resilience plan.

Health & Well-being: Leading a Safe and Healthy Workplace

This day-long course for supervisors introduces and reinforces knowledge, leadership skills, and resources that create and sustain safe and healthy workplaces. Everyone wins when employees feel respected, supported, and engaged.

Health & Well-being: Allies for a Safe and Healthy Workplace E-Learning Course

This 40-minute self-directed, e-learning course is accessible at any time. The course raises awareness in supervisors and employees of the importance of health and safety issues at work, and how every individual contributes to a safe and healthy workplace.
