Health and well-being workshops

Health and well-being workshops offer information for BC Public Service employees on a variety of healthy living-focused topics such as healthy active living, virtual fatigue (prevention and tips), basic leadership skills for everyone and more.

The current offerings are webinar based and delivered via Microsoft Teams.

Health and Well-being: Allies for a Safe and Healthy Workplace e-Learning course (IDIR restricted)

  • This 40-minute self-directed, e-learning course is accessible at any time
  • The course raises awareness in supervisors and employees of the importance of health and safety issues at work, and how every individual contributes to a safe and healthy workplace


Mental Health Continuum

The Mental Health Continuum is a model for evaluating the relationship between mental health and well-being in 3 major categories:

  • Good mental health
  • Declining/poor mental health 
  • Possible diagnosable mental illness or disorder 

This 14-minute video introduces the Mental Health Continuum and walks you through its use in the workplace and as part of your personal mental health self-check process.

Health and Well-being: Workplace Resources for Healthy Living


  • This 35-minute webinar is accessible at any time
  • This recorded session includes detailed information about Employee and Family Assistance Services (EFAS), including the many services offered, eligibility and how to access these resources
  • This is followed by an overview of additional health and safety-focused services and resources available through the Public Service Agency

To register for any of the health and well-being workshops, use the registration link in the course description or visit the PSA Learning System (IDIR restricted).

If you'd like to book a dedicated workshop for a ministry group, this service is available for a fee.
