BC's Education Plan
B.C. has a strong education system, but there is no denying that our world is changing rapidly. New kinds of jobs are constantly being created, and technology is changing the way we communicate and connect with each other.
BC's Education Plan lays out a plan for how our system can be more flexible, dynamic and adaptable to better prepare students for the future.
Your comments and ideas will help shape a vision for B.C.’s students today and tomorrow on a wide range of topics that include how we prepare new teachers for success, how school calendars are set, how professional development is structured, how we create better supports for vocational education, and many more. Ministry of Education staff are reviewing and replying to ensure the ongoing development of the plan meets the needs of parents, students and educators.
As per Elections BC advice, we won’t be commenting or posting anything new on the BC's Education Plan website during the election period. Your ideas and involvement in this community are important to us, so we look forward to connecting with you again after the election.
