Adult Education

Administrators assist with adult education program offerings by collecting fees, invigilating tests or providing instruction. Use the following program information to help with these kinds of tasks.

General Educational Development (GED®)

The GED® Certificate is awarded to those who successfully complete all five GED® tests.– reading, writing, social studies, science and mathematics. Multiple choice questions are used for each test, with a written essay also required for the writing test.

Please note: the GED® certificate is not the same as the Dogwood Diploma awarded to students who complete the graduation requirements of the British Columbia Secondary School Program.

Review test procedures for invigilators administering GED® tests.
