Some reports produced to date have given a broad overview of health status, while others have focused on specific topics such as air quality, diabetes, food, drinking water quality, immunization, injection drug use, Aboriginal health, injury prevention, school health, alcohol policy and prevention, women’s health, gambling, and HIV among gay and bisexual men.
  • Special Reports
The Provincial Health Officer’s special reports address specific health topics that may interest British Columbians or require changes in related legislation to improve health in BC.
  • Drinking Water Reports
The Provincial Health Officer is required by the Drinking Water Protection Act (2002) to report on activities under the Act.
