Public Service

Members of the public service are the politically impartial government employees who are responsible for carrying out the day-to-day activities of government and for delivering public services to the citizens of B.C.

The Public Service, along with the Lieutenant Governor, Premier and Cabinet, make up the executive branch of the provincial government. The public service acts under the authority of the Crown and a cabinet minister.
