Read the API terms of use for information provided under the OGL-BC.

The Application Programming Interface, including, as applicable, the developer credentials referred to below (together, the “API”) is a service that allows you to access certain Information in machine readable format. Your use of the API is governed by these Terms of Use and your use of the Information is governed by the Open Government Licence – British Columbia (“OGL-BC”).

Definitions

Any capitalized terms not defined in these Terms of Use are used as defined in the OGL-BC.

Use of API

By using the API you accept these Terms of Use.
 
The API is provided to you by the Information Provider for the sole purpose of allowing you to access the Information.
 
You will only access (or attempt to access) the API by the means described in the applicable API documentation. If you are assigned developer credentials, e.g., an API key, you must use them only with the applicable API(s). You must not share or transfer your developer credentials or misrepresent or mask your identity when using the API.
 
If you misuse your developer credentials, the Information Provider may revoke or limit your use of them. If you fail to comply with any other provision of these Terms of Use, your right to use the API will end automatically.

Changes to Terms of Use

This is version 1.1 of the API Terms of Use. The Information Provider may make changes to these Terms of Use from time to time without notice to you. Your continued use of the API constitutes your acceptance of any such changes.

Attribution

You must acknowledge the source of the Information as set out in the OGL-BC.

Limitations on Use

The Information Provider may, without notice, impose and or adjust limits on your access or use of the API in order to, without limitation, maintain the stability of the Information Provider’s servers and the behaviour of other applications using the API.

General Disclaimer

The API is provided to you “as is” and “as available” and the Information Provider excludes all representations, warranties, obligations and liability, whether express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

You are solely responsible for your use of the API. The Information Provider will not be liable for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, consequential, or other loss, injury or damage caused by its use or otherwise arising in connection with the API, even if specifically advised of the possibility of such loss, injury or damage.

Governing Law

These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the province of British Columbia and the applicable laws of Canada.
 
Legal proceedings related to these Terms of Use may only be brought in the courts of British Columbia.
