From the junction with Route 3 at Princeton via Aspen Grove to the Coldwater Interchange on Route 5 at Merritt, recommencing farther north at the Nicola Interchange, to Quilchena, to the junction with Trans Canada Route 1/5/97 at Exit 368. Shared designation with Route 97C from Aspen Grove to the Coldwater Interchange.
6 Nelson – Nelway – Vernon – Slocan From Canada - USA boundary at Nelway via Salmo, Nelson, South Slocan, Nakusp, Fauquier, Lumby to the junction with Route 97 at Vernon. Shared designation with Route A from 2 km south of South Slocan to Nelson, and with Route 3 beginning at Salmo and travelling south for approximately 14 km.
7 Lougheed Highway From the junction with Route 1 near Hope, westward through Kent, Mission, Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows to a point 95 m east of Ottawa Street in Port Coquitlam. Then beginning again at a point 300 m east of United Boulevard, westward and terminating at the on-ramp to Route 1 westbound, near Coleman Avenue. The Greater Vancouver Transportation Authority (TransLink) has jurisdiction from the point east of Ottawa Street to the point east of United Blvd, and for the portion of the Lougheed Highway from Coleman Avenue to Kingsway, via Broadway in Vancouver.
7B Mary Hill Bypass From the junction with Route 7 at the west end of the Pitt River Bridge, westward through the municipalities of Port Coquitlam and Coquitlam to United Blvd at the Cape Horn Interchange, then north on United Blvd, over Route 7, and terminating at the junction with Mariner Way.

10 Ladner - (Langley Bypass) - Livingstone Interchange Highway From junction with Route 91 through Delta, Surrey, City of Langley and Langley to the junction with Route 1 at Exit 66  (232nd Street Interchange).
11 Huntingdon – Mission From the Canada/USA boundary at Huntingdon through Abbotsford and across the Fraser River to the junction with Route 7 in Mission.
12 Lytton – Lillooet From the junction with Route 1 at Lytton to junction with Route 99 near Lillooet.
13 Aldergrove – Bellingham Highway and County Line Road From the Canada/USA boundary through the District Municipality of Langley to the junction with Route 1 at Exit 73 (264th Street Interchange).
14 West Coast (Sooke) From the junction with Route 1 at Millstream Interchange, south via Veterans Memorial Parkway to its junction with Sooke Road, then west through Colwood, Langford, Metchosin, Sooke and Jordan River to the Government Wharf at Port Renfrew.
15 Pacific Highway From the Canada/USA boundary through Surrey to the mid-point of the Clover Valley Road Underpass at the junction with Route 1 at Exit 53 (176th Street Interchange).  Route 15 changes to Route 17 north of the mid-point of the Clover Valley Road Underpass.

17 Patricia Bay Highway From the ferry terminal egress at the junction of Oswego Street and Belleville Street, via Belleville Street and Blanshard Street to the ferry terminal at Swartz Bay. South of Tolmie Avenue is under municipal jurisdiction (Victoria).
17 Tsawwassen Highway, South Fraser Perimeter Road From the Tsawwassen ferry terminal through Tsawwassen to Exit 7 (to Highway 17A) near Deltaport Way it is called the Tsawwassen Highway. From Exit 7 through Delta, New Westminster and Surrey along the south side of the Fraser River to the south abutment of the Clover Valley Road Underpass at the junction with Route 1 at Exit 53 (176th Street Interchange) it is called the South Fraser Perimeter Road. Route 17 changes to Route 15 south of the south abutment of the Clover Valley Road Underpass.
17A Tsawwassen Highway Departs from Route 17 at Exit 7 near Deltaport Way and travels through Delta and Ladner to the junction with Route 99 at Exit 28.
18 Cowichan Valley From the junction of Route 1 and Herd Road in North Cowichan via the Cowichan Valley to the junction of North Shore Road and South Shore Road at Lake Cowichan Village.
19 Vancouver Inland Island Highway From the Duke Point ferry terminal (south of Nanaimo) along the Duke Point Access Road, then north on a shared designation with Route 1 to the Nanaimo Parkway, along the Parkway, then to Campbell River (including Willow and Tamarac Streets) and north to the ferry terminal at Bear Cove near Port Hardy.
19A Island Highway The first section is from the intersection of Stewart Avenue and Brechin Road in Nanaimo via Brechin Road and then northerly through Nanaimo to the intersection with the Nanaimo Parkway (Route 19). The second section extends from Craig’s Crossing interchange on Route 19 through Parksville, Qualicum Beach, Union Bay, Royston, Courtenay, and Campbell River to the junction with Route 19 at Highway 28. Sections within Qualicum and Parksville municipal boundaries are municipal streets (non arterial).

23 Nakusp – Mica Creek From the junction with Route 6 at Nakusp via Galena Bay, Shelter Bay, Revelstoke to Mica Creek Dam Site.
24 93 Mile – Little Fort From the junction with Route 97 at 93 Mile House via Bridge Lake to the junction with Route 5 at Little Fort.
26 Barkerville From the junction with Route 97 near Quesnel to Barkerville Historic Park.
27 Vanderhoof – Stuart From the junction with Route 16 west of Vanderhoof to junction of Somme Road and the municipal boundary at Fort St. James.
28 Gold River From the junction with Route 19 at Campbell River to the junction of Muchalat Drive, Gold River Road and Scout Lake Road at Gold River.

From the junction with Route 97 northwest of Charlie Lake via Hudson's Hope to the junction with Route 97 at Chetwynd, then from the junction with Route 97 east of Chetwynd to the junction with Heritage Highway 52 east of Tumbler Ridge.
30 Port Alice From the junction with Route 19, between Port McNeill and Port Hardy, to the Port Alice municipal boundary.
31 Balfour – Kaslo – Galena Bay From the junction with Route 3A at Balfour via Kaslo and Trout Lake to the junction with Route 23 near Galena Bay.
31A Kaslo – New Denver From the junction with Route 31 at Kaslo to the junction with Route 6 at New Denver.
33 Rock Creek – Kelowna From the junction with Route 3 at Rock Creek via Westbridge and Beaverdell to the junction with Route 97 at Kelowna. Note that the western terminus will be at Enterprise Way when construction of the extension is complete.
35 North Francois From the junction with Route 16 at Burns Lake to the Francois Lake ferry landing.

101 Sunshine Coast From the ferry terminal at Langdale through Gibsons, Sechelt and Powell River (via Marine Avenue and Arbutus Street) to the unincorporated area of Lund.
113 Nisga’a Highway From the intersection with Route 16 at Terrace northerly to the intersection with the Nass Road near New Aiyansh, then westerly to Gingolx.
118 Central Babine Lake (but signed as Topley Landing Road) From the intersection with Route 16 at Topley to the Village of Granisle (gazetted as Route 118 on 10/7/03).
395 Christina Lake – Laurier From the Canada/USA boundary at Laurier to the junction with Route 3 near Cascade.

  • Highway names are as referenced in Orders in Council.
  • All route markers are the standard British Columbia marker except where use of Trans-Canada, Yellowhead, Crowsnest, and Nisga’a Route markers are specified.  Portions of highway in National Parks are under federal jurisdiction.
  • Some portions of contiguous highway are under municipal jurisdiction; these are referenced in the descriptions.
  • Some highway portions have dual number designations, and may also have a municipal designation.  For example, Highway 1A/99 between Stanley Park in Vancouver and Trans Canada Highway 1 in West Vancouver. This segment crosses Burrard Inlet as the Lions Gate Bridge, traverses a portion of Marine Drive, and is known as Taylor Way north of Marine Drive.
