Report & Pay PST Through Electronic Funds Transfer & Wire Payments

You can pay your PST account (including Municipal and Regional District Tax) by an electronic funds transfer or wire payment.

There are 2 steps in the process:

1) Pay

  • If you are located in Canada or anywhere else outside the United States of America, you can pay your PST account using one of the following methods:

Note: some financial institutions charge a fee for processing electronic payments, which may be deducted from your payment amount. Ask your financial institution for more information.

2) Validate your payment

You need to contact us to validate your payment. You must include the following information:

  • If you filed your return with eTaxBC:
    • the eTaxBC confirmation number;
    • your PST number;
    • the amount you deposited; and
    • the return period the payment is for.
  • If you have not filed your return with eTaxBC:
    • a completed copy of your return
    • your PST number;
    • the amount you deposited; and
    • the return period the payment is for.

Send the information to the Electronic Payments Clerk, Revenue Services of British Columbia by:

If you do not validate your payment, we cannot match your payment to your account. This may result in late payment penalties and interest may be charged.

To avoid late payment charges, your return and payment must be submitted on or before the due date.
