Filing the BC-S2, Monthly Disposition Statement
The BC-S2 statement reports your monthly receipts and dispositions of oil, condensate, natural gas and water to and from a reporting facility. It is also used to report field condensate sales.
You submit a BC-S2 to indicate the total volume of clean oil and condensate produced by your facility during the month. This amount must match the total measured and prorated production reported on your BC-S1.
If you have no production from the facility or no receipts to or disposition from the reporting facility, you don’t need to submit a BC-S2.
You must file the BC-S2 by the 25th day following the month of receipt or disposition.
If the due date falls on a Saturday, Sunday or statutory holiday, the due date is the next business day.
If you file your reports after the due date, you will be charged late filing penalties.
If you need to amend your BC-S2, contact us to find out how to make an amendment.
Keep working papers and supporting documentation until you obtain written permission for their disposal in the event that you are audited.
