How to File & Pay Mineral Tax

You can file and pay mineral tax:

Online using eTaxBC

You can file and pay online using eTaxBC. If you don't have an eTaxBC account, enrol for access to your tax account.

Government Office

You can submit your completed return, supporting documentation and payment at a Service BC Centre. Your payment must be made in Canadian funds by cash, debit, cheque, bank draft or money order made payable to the Minister of Finance. Credit card payments aren't accepted.

Write your account number clearly on all payments and include your Account Remittance Advice slip or your tax return. Your tax return and payment is considered on time if it’s received by 4:30pm on the due date.

Mail

You can send your completed return, supporting documentation and payment to:

Your payment must be made in Canadian funds by cheque, bank draft or money order made payable to the Minister of Finance, or using banking services.

Write your account number clearly on all payments and include your Account Remittance Advice slip or your tax return. Your tax return or payment is considered on time if the envelope is postmarked by Canada Post on or before the due date.

Courier

You can send your completed return, supporting documentation and payment to:

You can send your completed return and supporting documentation by fax to 250 952-0191. Your tax return is considered on time if we receive it by 4:30pm on the due date. If you also need to make a payment, you can submit your payment by mail, courier or using banking services.
