Privacy statement for data collected under authority of the Wildlife Act

Personal information is collected through this Wildlife Information & Licencing Data system under the authority of the Freedom of Information & Protection of Privacy Act as described in the Privacy Statement of the Government of British Columbia.

The information is also collected under the authority of the Wildlife Act. It will be used to administer the hunting program including the processing and updating of the Fish & Wildlife ID, hunting credentials, hunting licences, guide outfitter licences, permit to accompany non-residents or non-resident aliens to hunt big game, limited entry hunting applications and authorizations, and grizzly bear registry reports.

Users may be surveyed by the Wildlife and Habitat Branch or their agent for the purposes of hunting management.
