Youth Firesetter Intervention Manual

Firesetting poses a risks in our communities due to potential property damage, injury and even death. In most cases, concerned parents and teachers turn to their local fire department for help.

The Youth Firesetter Intervention Manual (previously Juvenile Firesetter Manual) gives fire departments and other agencies a simple and consistent program to address youth firesetting. The manual includes guidelines by the Fire Safety Advisory Council and was developed to provide a consistent approach to youth firesetting intervention in British Columbia.

The Youth Firesetter Intervention Manual comes in two volumes. The manuals are available to download for free to print at home or office, or through Crown Publications to purchase professionally printed copies.
