SeedMap

SeedMap is a web-based mapping tool built using 'Common Web Mapping'. SeedMap can be used with SPAR or independently to view map layers and query the associated data, including:

  • Natural stand seed planning zones (for Class B seedlots)
  • Genetic Resource Management (GRM) seed planning zones by species (for Class A seedlots)
  • Seedlot collection sources for natural stand seedlots
  • BEC spatial data - Biogeoclimatic zones, subzones and variants
  • Ministry of Forests Regions and Districts
  • Timber Supply Areas and Tree Farm Licences
  • BC Timber Sales Area
  • Silviculture Openings
  • First Nations Treaty Lands
