Climate-based seed transfer interim policy measures 2014

The map and spatial dataset for western larch were amended in May 2014. The following map shows the seed planning zones (SPZs) associated with the revised seed deployment for western larch as provided in the May 2014 amendment to the Chief Forester's Standards for Seed Use.

The map shows the 2014 version of the LW1 and LW2 SPZs for the assisted range and population expansion of western larch with the original NE (Nelson), EK (East Kootenay) and NEK (NE-EK overlap) seed planning zones:
