Re: Sanitary Sewer Connection

With reference to your letter of November 6, 1989, regarding a mandatory sewer connection.

We regret that we are unable to be of assistance in this matter, our authority is derived from Sections 740 and 741 of the Municipal Act; this limits our jurisdiction to the British Columbia Building Code. While the Plumbing Code is an integral part of the Building Code, it does not deal with your type of situation. Under the circumstances we can only suggest that you obtain legal counsel.
