British Columbia Plant Protection Advisory Council

Last updated on November 8, 2016

The British Columbia Plant Protection Advisory Council (BCPPAC) provides a forum to address plant health and plant quarantine issues of concern to British Columbia. Participants include federal and provincial agencies, regional and municipal governments, universities and industry. Concerns addressed include both recently introduced pests and pests under active management. Technical advisory committees are appointed by BCPPAC to provide updates and advice on the status and management options for many specific pest or crop concerns.

The Council meets twice per year, typically in January and June.
