British Columbia has a package of tax credits for parents worth up to $1,500 per child available to help B.C. families with costs like fitness programs, fitness equipment, and arts programs for children. These tax credits build on the savings parents and guardians receive thanks to the PST exemption that exists on numerous school supplies as well as children’s clothing and footwear.
