The Medical Services Commission (MSC) Payment Schedule – Chapter 40 Laboratory Medicine (PDF, 292KB) contains the complete list of fees approved by the MSC payable to approved laboratory facilities for insured laboratory services provided to beneficiaries enrolled  with the Medical Services Plan (MSP).

Registered Nurses in Certified Practice should refer to the chapter on Laboratory Medicine for limits and conditions associated with the specific fee items (listed in the table below) that RN C’s may order for their patients.

RN (C)’s may only refer beneficiaries for outpatient MSP-funded laboratory services (procedures or tests) contained within this list, provided the service falls within their certified scope of practice.
